Mission

Our mission at Bright Lantern is to spark a love of reading in children and shine hope into the community. We partner with nonprofits, homeschool communities, churches, educators, and families to make quality books accessible to all.  Our goal is to share books that uplift, educate, and foster connections. We believe that every child deserves to have access to stories that shine a light into their world. 

Zach’s Toy Chest

We donate new books, puzzles, and games to Zach’s Toy Chest, who then provides them to pediatric patients at local hospitals.

Little Free Libraries

We are committed to helping children discover stories that bring light, imagination, and discovery into their lives. One way we do this is by stocking Little Free Libraries around our community with gently loved children’s books, along with occasional new book surprises.

Know a Little Free Library that could use children’s books? Send us the location and a picture (if possible) and we’ll add it to our list.
